1. Pre-contract information
Before placing a paid order, the customer should be able to identify the principal service characteristics, total price or calculation method, term, payment method, termination logic, domain dependencies and selected data region.
2. Contract copy and version history
Order and electronic signature evidence are versioned. Material contract changes should be traceable as a new version and should not retroactively rewrite accrued rights.
3. Service issues and remediation
Operational issues can be reported through support and receive a reference. For custom development, acceptance, remediation and outstanding items are governed by the project specification and customer agreement.
4. Cancellation, withdrawal and refunds
Whether a statutory withdrawal or cancellation right applies depends on customer status, jurisdiction, service type and service commencement. Mandatory consumer rights cannot be excluded by general terms.
5. Data access and portability
Before service exit, the customer should use the export functions made available for the service. Personal-data rights are handled separately under privacy law. Domain transfers follow registry/registrar rules.
6. Complaints and escalation
Complaints are logged with a reference. Privacy matters may also be escalated to the competent supervisory authority. Domain disputes can be subject to registry or dispute-resolution procedures.
7. Business customers and future consumer sales
ClearlyHost distinguishes business orders from private purchases. The actual purpose of the contract takes precedence over a checkbox. Consumer information, applicable periods and any request for an early start are reviewed separately. An order entered by our staff does not waive mandatory rights.
