An offer that fits your professional work.
Which professions does ClearlyHost work with?
ClearlyHost is intended for law firms, medical practices and specialist offices, including adouls, judicial officers, experts, translators, engineers and accounting offices. The focus is an appropriate professional presence and a clear explanation of your services. Any specialist software requirements are discussed separately around the way your organisation works.
Which offer suits my firm, practice or professional business?
Basis suits a compact website presenting your work, main services and contact details. Standard provides an individually designed professional website with space for your specialisms, team and approach. For internal processes, we discuss business software or ERP as a separate project.
Can I arrange the website, domain and hosting through one provider?
Yes. The supported website offers bring together design, your preferred domain, hosting and technical setup. Business email and the agreed support are also considered. You do not have to coordinate every part yourself. The exact scope is set out in your package or quotation.
Can my existing website be taken over or redesigned?
An existing website can be the starting point. We discuss which content you want to keep and which design elements or functions you want to improve. We then assess whether updating the site or building a new one makes more sense, taking access permissions, usage rights and the transition into account.
How do I start when I do not yet have a detailed plan?
Tell us about your work, your audience and what you would like your website or software to achieve. You do not need a finished specification for the first conversation. This gives us a basis for defining the scope and next steps. Your initial enquiry is not an order.
Website & design
From the first proposal to your finished website.
How does the website creation process work?
We first agree on the goals, content and scope. The structure and design are then developed. You review the proposal and provide feedback within the agreed review rounds. Publication is prepared with you, followed by the support specified in your order.
What materials and content should I prepare?
Useful materials include your logo, a short introduction, your services or specialisms, contact details, opening or consultation hours and suitable images. Only provide material you are entitled to publish. Where text or photographs are missing, we establish who will provide them and whether additional work is required.
How long will it take for my website to go live?
The timeframe depends on the scope, languages and functions, as well as the availability of your content. A project schedule is established after the requirements are agreed. Complete materials and consolidated feedback help the work move forward. Please mention any intended opening or launch date in the first conversation.
Can my website be in French, Arabic or other languages?
Yes, a multilingual website can be planned, for example in French, Arabic, German or English. We agree which content is needed in each language and who will supply the translations. Arabic design takes the reading direction into account. Translations and additional language versions are expressly included in the agreed scope when required.
Can I have content updated later or edit it myself?
Yes. Depending on the agreed solution, updates can be handled by ClearlyHost or through an editing account provided for you. We establish which content you can change and which ongoing updates are included in the support. Larger changes and new features are planned separately.
Domain, email & support
The practical side, without the jargon.
Can I keep my existing domain?
An existing domain can be included in the planning. Depending on the situation, it may remain with your current provider or be transferred. We first review the access required and the effect on your website and email. For a new preferred domain, availability is checked first.
What happens to my email addresses and messages when I move?
Email is considered separately from the website so that existing mailboxes and messages are not overlooked. Before a change, we establish the current provider, access requirements and any data migration. The process, backup and timing are agreed in advance; a completely interruption-free migration cannot be promised in every case.
Will I have business email using my own domain?
The website offers provide for business email using your domain. Included mailboxes and storage are listed in your package details. We agree useful addresses, for example for general enquiries or your office. Setup on individual devices and additional mailboxes are discussed separately where needed.
Do I need to handle the technical work myself?
For a supported website, you do not have to carry out the technical implementation yourself. ClearlyHost handles the setup and support included in the order. You decide on your content and approve the design. For a self-managed hosting project, your responsibilities and our services are defined accordingly.
Who helps me after the website is published?
ClearlyHost remains your contact for the agreed technical support. We first identify whether the request concerns a content change, hosting question or fault. The scope, contact channels and any agreed response times follow your order. Ongoing editorial work and new features can be arranged separately.
Costs & agreement
Clarity on services and ongoing costs.
What is included in the price of my website package?
The price covers the services expressly described in your package and order, such as design, domain, hosting and setup. The short description helps you choose; the service details define the exact scope. Particular requirements are added through an appropriate quotation before you commission the work.
Why is a monthly figure shown when payment is annual?
The monthly figure helps you compare prices. Website packages are billed annually in advance; the displayed annual amount is the relevant charge. This does not automatically mean a subscription that can be cancelled each month. Pricing and payment schedules for software and bespoke projects are agreed separately.
Could there be additional costs?
Additional services and any applicable external-provider fees are explained transparently and agreed with you before they are commissioned. Examples include translations, specialist integrations or paid software licences. These services are not silently assumed to be included in your website package.
Can I add pages, functions or business software later?
Yes, your project can develop in stages. Tell us what has changed in your work or organisation. We assess how the proposed addition fits the existing solution and agree the work, cost and timing beforehand. Not every change requires an entirely new website.
What are the terms for duration, renewal and cancellation?
Website packages use annual billing. The precise term, any renewal and cancellation deadlines are stated in the conditions of your order. Discuss a move or the end of a contract in good time so that the domain, email and data handover can be planned. Software projects may have different arrangements.
Business software & ERP
Planning tools around the way you work.
How does a website differ from business software or ERP?
Your website presents your work to the public and makes contact easier. Business software and ERP support internal processes, such as tasks, information or documents. The right solution depends on the way you work. Software is therefore discussed as a separate project and is not automatically included in a website package.
Can I enquire about business software without ordering a ClearlyHost website?
Yes. A software project can be discussed independently of a website order. Your processes, the number of people involved and the functions required are the starting point. Keeping existing systems and choosing an operating environment are considered during planning. A website order is not a prerequisite.
Which law-firm requirements can be discussed for ClearlyLaw ERP?
Possible topics include an overview of case files, tasks, appointments, document workflows and team collaboration. Together, we identify which modules suit your organisation and are actually available. Automatic calculation of statutory deadlines, external specialist integrations and particular procedural functions are not broadly promised as standard features.
What digital support can be planned for a medical practice?
We begin with administrative processes, such as appointment organisation, team tasks and operational documents. Potential functions are assessed against your requirements and the available solution. Patient records, medical decisions and other clinical functions are not presented as automatically included services.
Can existing data be migrated and staff given training?
Both can form part of a software project. We first examine data formats, quality, permissions and the scope of migration. A trial, transition and suitable introduction can then be planned. Migration and training are described specifically in the quotation rather than treated as unlimited extras.
Working together & confidentiality
Responsibilities, access and personal support.
Should I send confidential documents with my first enquiry?
A description of your work and intended processes is enough for the first conversation. Do not send patient records, client documents, identity-document copies or login credentials through the general enquiry form. If documents are later needed, we agree their purpose, scope and a suitable way to transfer them.
Can different staff members have different access rights?
Roles and access rights are considered when planning business software. We establish who should be able to view or edit which information and what the chosen solution supports. Actual permissions are defined for the particular project. A website package alone does not provide an internal staff portal.
How are backups, updates and restoration arranged?
These points are discussed as part of operating the service. We define the backups and updates planned, who handles them and how restoration is requested. The scope, retention period and any additional charges depend on the selected service. Unlimited backups or complete restoration at any time are not promised across all offers.
Who approves the professional content of my website?
You approve your professional information, service descriptions and specialist statements. ClearlyHost supports structure and presentation within the agreed scope. Professional or legal review of qualifications, mandatory information and particular advertising claims is a separate responsibility; website design alone does not replace it.
How do I contact ClearlyHost about my project?
Use “Discuss your project” for a new requirement or the channels listed on the contact page. For an existing order, your customer or project reference and a short description help identify the matter. Only use the specifically agreed communication channel for confidential information.
